Emma’s Fit For Business With BBV
Previously a primary school teacher, Emma became disenfranchised with the profession and also had a desire to work for herself as a fitness instructor, if possible still working with children. She now runs aerobic, urban funk dance and box-ercise classes for school children as part of their curriculum in school hours; classes for out of school clubs; and also adult classes in the same activities.
Emma has accessed BBV’s business planning workshops and has also had to one-to-one support to assist with the financial management of the business.
Emma has now built a sustainable business and her understanding of and confidence in both her business and her won abilities has increased considerably. She comments: “With BBV’s assistance, I have grown in confidence in terms of my belief in the business and in my own abilities. I have understood the growth rate of the business as it has happened and have remained focused on increasing the number of classes and size thereof including preparing for the change in demand during school holidays.”
She continues, “I’d give BBV 10 out of 10. The advisers are helpful, approachable and professional and I’d definitely recommend them to others in business. It has been a great help to me. I really didn’t know there was so much help available and it is real bonus that it is free of charge - don’t try and do it all on your own.”
