In February 2010 240 new businesses started trading thank to the Intensive Start Up Support programme.
First tenders out for BSU 2 The panel of suppliers for BSU 2 have received the first mini tenders. The responses will be used by Local Authorities to decide which providers will deliver start up services to local residents.
189 new businesses started in April 2009.
The Business Start Up project assisted 189 new businesses to start trading in April 2009. These businesses will continue to have support and assistance in their first years of trading via the project.
